Call or email me with your computer problem. If I can solve it in a 10 to 20 minute phone call, all you owe me is a review. If it’s something more technically significant, I’ll give you a recommendation or a quote.
Let’s book you a time slot and I’ll fix, install, or maintain any device you need. One visit, problem sorted. Available in your home, or as a take-away when a job runs deep, or as a take-away if you’re short on time (take-away adds an hour of travel). Includes 2 hours on site; additional hours billed at $50/hr. Parts and hardware, like a RAM replacement, are billed separately.
Keep your home internet safe and age-appropriate. WiFi and home-internet filtering: $200. Whole-home package: $450, covering your WiFi plus up to 5 devices with custom rules per device, per hour, and per website.
Web browsing slowed to a crawl? Pop-ups, strange toolbars, programs you never asked for? I’ll run full malware and virus scans, remove the troublemakers, and clean up your browser so the internet feels fast again. In your home, or as a take-away (take-away adds an hour of travel). Includes 2 hours on site; additional hours billed at $50/hr. Older computers with slower drives can take longer to scan.
One-on-one, hands-on help to get comfortable with your own device, at your pace. Covers one device in a single focused session, about an hour, and you keep a printed step-by-step guide for your setup. Includes my prep time on your exact devices before I arrive. Setting up several devices, or a small group learning together, is a custom quote.
Need help outside regular hours? Think of it as a nighttime Fast Fix, billed at time and a half. The $300 call-out covers travel and up to two hours of service, charged in full whatever the job turns out to be. Additional time is billed at $75/hr. Weekend and off-day bookings are available too, on the same off-hours surcharge.
The single most noticeable upgrade a slow computer can get: swap a tired spinning hard drive for a fast SSD. Also the fix when an aging drive starts failing. I confirm what your machine takes and what fits your budget ahead of time, then swap in the new drive and move everything over in one visit. Drive hardware billed on top. Very large or very old drives can take longer to transfer.
Ongoing care for people who would rather set it and forget it. The first visit covers a meet and greet, a full Fast Fix service, and remote-access setup, including a smart plug so I can restart stuck equipment without a call-out. Every month includes 2 hours of scheduled remote maintenance and free phone support, plus a Fast Fix visit each quarter and a 35% discount on after-hours rates. Prices cover a single device; larger home networks and extra devices are a custom quote.
