I set your router to filter the whole house at once using a family-safe DNS like OpenDNS or CleanBrowsing, so adult and dangerous sites are blocked on every device that connects, no app required. That covers the devices on your home network, and since a phone on cellular data can slip around the router, I layer the on-device controls below on top of it.
I build a separate profile for each kid and each device, so your teenager and your six-year-old don’t end up with the same rules. Little ones get tight limits, older kids get more room, and the grown-up devices stay untouched.
I set internet bedtimes and homework windows so devices go quiet at the hours you pick. You decide when the Wi-Fi sleeps and when it wakes up, down to the day of the week.

Beyond the broad filter, I build custom allow and block lists for the specific sites and apps you care about, and I lock down app and game store downloads so nothing new gets installed without your say-so.
I turn on enforced Safe Search across the search engines and switch YouTube to Restricted Mode, or set up a supervised Kids profile, so the obvious bad stuff is filtered out of searches and recommendations.
